Celebrate Family Literacy Day with WQSB

Location: Community kiosk at Aylmer Mall (between Super C and TD Bank)

In honor of Family Literacy Day, the Western Quebec School Board will be hosting a special event to promote the importance of reading and learning as a family activity.  Three local children’s authors will read from their published works, elementary students will stage a “read-in”, and passers-by will have the opportunity to read to one-on-one with “Lola”, an Ottawa Therapy Dog with the R.E.A.D. Célébrez la journée de l'alphabétisation familiale avec CSWQ

Lieu: Les Galeries d’Aylmer (le kiosque entre Super C et la banque TD)

Pour célébrer la Journée de l'alphabétisation familiale, la Commission scolaire Western Québec animera un événement spécial pour promouvoir l'importance de la lecture et l'apprentissage comme une activité familiale. Les auteurs jeunesses Catherine Austen, Valérie Perrault et Eric Girard présentaient leurs œuvres, les élèves préscolaire mettra en scène une "read-in", et les passants auront l'occasion de lire à tête-à-tête avec «Lola», un chien avec la programme R.E.A.D.
