We would like to remind all drivers that on August 30th most of our students will be returning to school. Some students will be walking and school buses will be back on the roads. Please ensure that you come to a full stop when school bus lights are flashing, respect school zone speed limits and stop for students to cross the road at crosswalks.

SCHOOL TAX INVOICING
Invoices for the taxation period of July 1st, 2010 to June 30th, 2011 were mailed on August 13th, 2010 and will be due on September 13th, 2010.
Please note the Val-d’Or tax office situated at 799, 1ère Avenue in Val-d’Or was closed on October 31, 2008 and the Pontiac Tax Office situated at 89 Centre Street in Shawville was closed on March 1, 2009.

To register students, during the schools’ summer holidays starting August 3rd, please call the Western Québec School Board to make an appointment.

- Long form Birth Certificate of the child
- Proof of Canadian Citizenship of one parent
(Birth Certificate or Citizenship card)
