Residential and Commercial Drafting

1800 hours – Full-Time Program (5750)

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

This program provides the specialized training to enable men and women to perform the tasks and activities related to produce drawings for residential and commercial properties.

The Residential and Commercial Drafting program develops the competencies:

The program is divided into the following competencies and includes an on-the-job training period.  Adult learners gain valuable experience which should enable them to secure employment upon the successful completion of the program.

  16. Structural Steel Shop Drawings
  17. Architectural Plans; Multi-Family Dwellings
  18. Information Related to Electricity

N.B. Completion of this program leads to a Québec Ministry of Education Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS)
