Loans and Bursaries
To qualify for the Loans and Bursaries Program, you must :
- be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident within the meaning of the Canadian Immigration Act;
- be a Québec resident at the time of your application; be admitted to a designated educational institution;
- be enrolled as a full-time student in a recognized program (at least 12 credits or 180 hours per semester in a secondary school or vocational program);
- demonstrate that you do not have sufficient financial resources to pursue your studies.
The maximum annual loan is $2,005. Should a student's allowable expenses be higher than the maximum loan, the student may be eligible for a bursary. March 31 of each year is the final date for applications for that school year.
